Melanie Kissell
There’s really not much you can learn about someone in a micro-blogging platform of 140 characters. So I created this page so you can get to know me a little more intimately: who I am, what I do, and how we can stay in touch. If you happen to be a LinkedIn or Facebook user, I hope our social networking paths will cross there, as well.
WHAT I DO
As a licensed perinatal instructor and lactation specialist, I teach pregnant couples how to send the baby out the exit shoot, how to become an overnight pro at changing a diaper (and lots of other survival tactics), and how to avoid the biggest breastfeeding bloopers. So that’s how I’ve been keeping busy offline for over 25 years!
Online, I’m the owner and founder of Solo Mompreneur and I’m a passionate affiliate marketer. I only promote products and services that I currently use and recommend for my own business from resources and sellers I trust.

WHO I AM
I’m known for my sense of humor in my birth education classroom. My way of helping to alleviate expectant couples’ fears, worries, and apprehensions is to get them laughing. It works!
In between loads of laundry, grocery shopping, cooking, housework, caring for two dogs and twin teenagers, I love being a solo mompreneur and honing the skills of copywriting, blogging, public speaking, and social media marketing.
